Mmm... ¿hay algún problema con Clive Owen? Porque, pese a ser uno de los protagonistas y ser a mi juicio lo mejor de toda la película, en el reportaje del programa de esta semana ni se le menciona.
Incluso se le ha dado más protagonismo a la hora de comentar la película a Benicio del Toro que, por mucho nombre que tenga, no deja de ser un secundario mientras Owen es un protagonista.
Y lo dice alguien que no soportaba a Owen hasta que lo ha visto en Sin City.
Es echar en una cazuela un pizca de Tarantino, una pizca de buen cine negro, el buen ojo para los efectos especiales de Robert Rodriguez y un elenco de actores marvillosos....No conocia los comics de Frank Miller pero la pelicula me ha echo interesarme por ellos... Original,tanto q al principio asusta pero te absorbe,te mete en el mundo del dibujante, y pasas dos horas realmente buenas.Muy acertado el modo de mostrar las escenas violentas. 7,5
Aunque parezca casi imposible, de “Casablanca” parecen llegar ecos convertidos en el hedor de las calles de esta película de cine negro muy mucho, brutal y sangrienta, de pecado y sin ley que es Sin City, habitada por la corrupción, por féminas fatales terriblemente sensuales y mortales, de ángeles de striptease de rodeo y giros al infierno, de negrura sanguinolenta y... de héroes de endurecido pelaje y cigarrillo humeante en los labios que, perversa comparación, recuerdan al Humprey Bogart de la película de Michael Curtiz, es decir, de entornada mirada, de pasado oscuro, duros, muy duros y de un sentido justiciero que a la hora de la verdad, ponen todo su (aquí bestial) esfuerzo, vida en juego y gatillo fácil en la tarea de defender a su dama de la mancha, a la diosa de sus ojos y la esperanza de su deshecho corazón; algo en lo que tiene mucho que ver el creador de la novela gráfica en la que se inspira, magistralmente, esta película, Frank Miller, codirector de la misma, y al que se le debe esa original estética a tres bandas - blanco, negro y un color a elegir-, que fantásticamente traslada Robert Rodríguez a la pantalla, en un trabajo de dirección impecable no menor al impresionante talento de un impresionante reparto.
Peculiar estética por cierto que ya se pudo ver en la poco conocida buena, bonita y comparada con ésta, muy blandita “Pleasentville”. Pero si hablamos de influencias, no podemos olvidar a Quentin Tarantino, director invitado aquí cuyo “Pulp fiction” cede alguno de sus espermatozoides a la estructura de piezas encajadas del film, aunque para ser sinceros, en esta película el anclaje entre las historias no es tan prieto ni efectivo; de hecho no es lo más importante; aquí no cuenta ni reflexión ni moraleja, sólo la más cruel ley del talión, disfrute casi gore no apto para estómagos de escaso empaque, que te roba la atención y como te descuides por la boca el corazón, labor por la que Rodríguez sale condecorado con buena nota.

Si la genial "Batman Begins" de Nolan conseguía transformar las viñetas en un film con personajes de profundo perfil psicológico (dentro de los límites que permite Gotham City), Rodriguez transporta al espectador a las oscuras calles de su fantástica "Sin City", donde la violencia y las pasiones (bajas, en general) se entremezclan de forma exagerada y mueven a sus protagonistas hacia una espiral de balas y sangre (de tolerables e infinitas tonalidades) en un último intento de redención.
Únicamente es necesario no asustarse de la agresividad y la estética impactantes del film (que, de otra forma, rozaría el gore) y acostumbrarse a las voces en off (tan típicas del noir) para implicarse con los personajes, sobrevivir y disfrutar de dos horas en La Ciudad del Pecado.
Coincido plenamente con Solo: el cine se hizo cómic como nunca antes había sucedido. Absolutamente genial.
Un consejo: vean la película en version original porque gana muchísimo. Las voces de los 4 protagonistas masculinos son estremecedoras.
De lo mejor que he visto ultimamente, sobre todo si te gusta el cine negro y el comic.
Una gozada de película, la fotografía, los efectos especiales ad hoc para transformarla en comic, la caracterización de los actores, la verdad, me provocó los mismos sentimientos que cuando lees un comic y te imbuyes totalmente en la historia. Es para verla, no olvidándote nunca de lo que estas viendo: Un comic magistralmente llevado a la pantalla.
Por cierto me recordó mucho a la forma de rodar de los cineastas alemanes de principios del siglo pasado: !que hubieran hecho aquellos con esta tecnología¡!.
